It’s been a big, busy 2019 so far. Pacific Fiberglass found a new corner booth at the Seattle Boat Show and wanted a new backdrop and slide show. The booth looked great, and except for some lighting issues all went well. More importantly, Doug was busy talking to customers the whole time. Pacific Fiberglass’s superb work and integrity continues to establish itself as unmatched to work with.

Queen City Yacht Club decided to go with a print version of the Bilge Pump. The layout of the book now falls to the printer as part of the deal, but I’m still involved. I am making sure all the ads get put in the right places and creating new ads as necessary. The January and February issues were challenging as we found our feet with this new system.

My friends at the Northwest Maritime Center took over publishing the local 48 North Magazine in the middle of last year. I’ve always been associated with the crews working there, as a writer and a sailor. So it made sense that at the boat show crunch time they approached me for helping out with the March issue. It’s been fun helping editor Joe Cline with the issue. In addition to helping edit, some of my writing is in there as well.
