My marketing experience dates back to Alaska Diesel Electric (aka Northern Lights) in the 1990s. We did everything from manuals and brochures to videos and a website on that oh-so-new thing called the Internet. We were a small group, but the variety of what we did kept things interesting and gave me a good foundation.
After leaving Alaska Diesel, I was approached by other companies who wanted the same services but didn’t have enough need the full-blown resources of a marketing firm.
In recent years I’ve taken on the production and maintenance of websites utilizing WordPress so that clients who want to maintain their own sites can do so easily.
I provide basic services to companies in the marine world. Many jobs are straightforward enough I can do myself, eliminating the complexities of multiple people on the job. When I need specific expertise, e.g. video editing or website construction, I bring in experts.
