My pet project since 2016 has been the sailish.com website. It covers sailing and racing in the Pacific Northwest, allowing me to write about what I love. It’s a mix of journalism, community activism and opinion. It’s supported by a community of sailors and sailing-oriented businesses.

Content on Sailish.com includes weather outlooks for Salish Sea sailors, plus a look forward to racing tactics for certain races with the predicted weather. Local race reports are offered up in a timely manner, and we keep an eye on Pacific Northwesterners making waves in competition nationally and internationally.

The site’s strength is that sailors from around the region contribute. They file race reports, give me the lowdown on what’s coming up and clue me into the myriad sailing scenes like youth, multihulls, offshore and cruising. Visit the site by clicking on the logo.
